Ahh e-readers! I got the Nook Color and it's more expensive ($249) but I'm impressed with it. I've put some downloaded manga on it (you need to format it a bit, I used this guide): http://thegrownupsarelying.blogspot.com/2010/05/how-to-get-manga-on-your-e-reader.html

I'm hoping they'll offer e-manga for sale or something in the future. Formatting can be a bitch if the person scanned in double pages instead of single.

I've seen a bit of emanga on Sony's site but the selection totally sucks. I haven't looked at B&N or Amazon's offers yet, or to see if it even exists.

I do have a file converter already, Calibre, which seems to be the converter of choice for any and all ereader users. I have a friend with a Kindle that uses it. I'll probably start fooling with the manga eventually but for now i'm just getting used to doing things with book files. So far, i'm liking it, especially with my own book reading habits from hell. It was a good choice on my mom's part to get this for me, i think.
