 Chapter 3

Since i last posted. Mostly been working and working and working. Until touma_karamochi made her way over here for her HAZWOPER class. It's been a nice, short change in scenery.  While she's in class, i've been watching Princess TuTu which presses so many of my audio buttons its unreal. Just as many as BECK did years ago.  This one reminds me of all the classical that i'm surprisingly familiar with, even if i can't remember who composed them. My favorite is still Sleeping Beauty though, hands down.

On top of  a real, complex story. I'm 11 eps in, of 26 and its just downright lovely.  Messed up on several levels, especially for hte implications but *sighs* , it has that 'gotta' in the stories that i adore beyond all reason. I'm usually not for magical girl/shojou anime, but this is definitely the rare exception to the rule.

So this is eating my brain at the moment, but when i'm not watching this i'm still in fangirl overload after the Star Trek XI (reboot) flick, which also has a score to die for. ^_^ Much less a very good film on top of it, where the last 3 were very mediocre. The new cast, i adore beyond all reason and they did it feasibly. They used a cliche 10 megaton plot device (alt universe/time travel) but it was done WELL.  Star Trek was one of the first things to get me into scifi as a kidlet, so seeing this? Just cemented it. I'll never be a full out trekkie, but i still adore the franchise.

For now? I'm here in Kalamazoo for a few more hours until i make my way back to GR. I'm almost curious to see if i can go see the old train station made so famous by Glen Miller and his Orchestra back in the 40s. That is, if it hasn't been totally remodeled from the ground up!

On one less rambling note? I need to revive my stories again. I've been missing writing for Bird of Prey, but i'm also on the search for another set of roommates. Even with Arthur in my head going 'knock knock!' and prodding me to get on with it. i think that's plenty to keep me busy until i get resettled in august again.  So as usual, a lot of stuff to do in a short time. 

I know i'm on the mend again when my head throws out random porn scenes. >_<  This one's going to have to wait until after work too.  *headdesks and glares at Arthur and Merlin*

Long way to go, but at least i know i'm not quite so freaked out anymore. At least for a while, anyway. Still gotta make that doc appointment, though. The therapist is recommending what i thought she would.  Mix of therapy and one med to get myself to sleep better and a bit more stable again.

Gonna need to pull out my old meditation techniques too. *yawns*  But i'll leave that for after i get the pr0n written. XD I'll never be able to concentrate with that warring for superiority in my mind's eye.

And yes, i'll be fixing to write myself some Saiyuki fic at some point(samsara!), i'm still trying to reconcile a John-voice in my head. While it's dualing with a sniggering Nii and a loudmouth Mckay. Oh dear gods. Do not get those two in a room together. The sarcasm quotient skyrockets.

So yes, my head is rather noisy at the moment.

GArgh. Gonna have to watch it at least once, maybe two more times after i get back home. Or maybe on sunday night's repeat. For now? i need to finish packing to see my parentals. XD

Last visit before classes start. Perfect thing to pick my mood up from total funk. *glares at Nii and Mckay* oh dear. No, nothing sexual. But ye gods, the bickering. Two mega superiority complexes in one headspace. *HEADDESK*


Don't count on coherence from me until tommorrow--late tommorrow if i'm lucky. Or maybe sunday. Either way. I won't be back in GR till Monday afternoon or night.

Here's the scenario i got from it. Many thanks to sychogrl my long time beta of d00m. devikun for allowing me to ramble on the possible scenario and the suggesting of much sex. This feels so weird to have finally written something after so long. September of last year since i wrote and even longer since i even shared it with the fandom. I think it was building to this, i swear. I don't write for months and what do i get? Kink. Lots of kink--with plot snuck in.

Think of it as a mild AU. Kou and Nii in the whole thing together after a very loud and very painful type of courtship, ending with Kougaiji deciding to take the subtle path to what he wants, instead of the outright rebellion we saw in Against The Stream. *evil grin* Even Samsara never took this path. But it's a possibiity nonetheless.

You're niggling got me thinking. I do believe i'll be writing that porn that ate my brain with the new Nii art. I'll go back to actually WRITING it in a bit. We'll see if it's outright smut or if it's my usual fare which ends up being not-porn, but still porny. *blinks* Gods i soundlike Mckay. Is that a bad thing?


Oh and Geo 3, Alias 1.

I get to replace my wheel cylinders and the rest of the rear break assembly tommorrow. The wheel cylinders were bad, therfore eating away at the rear drums and shoes. There goes 250$ i thought i'd get to save. But at least i caught it before stuff gave out entirely. I can replace the front breaks later, but they aren't bad. The back ones though? Are making me very leery on my way to work. So..off to the garage while i work my shift. Already made arrangements with the mechanics today after they got me the estimate. There are advantages to being on a friendly basis with the head mechanic because he's a regular at our pharamcy. XD We all bring our grumpy vehicles over there, so it works out for everyone.

It won this round because the break light went on. If i'd have taken care of it BEFORE today i would have won. I know i've been having break problems for the last 3 months or so. It's just been lack of time and money. I consider it critical because break petal mashing is NOT good on a highway commute. Even if it is a backwoods highway. So. Geo wins, until next time.

Now 'm gonna go write that fic. *wanders off*
